Three of FIFA’s six confederations have publicly challenged President Gianni Infantino’s conduct. In an open letter addressed to the “football family,” UEFA, CONCACAF and AFC criticised his actions during a proposed sale of a stake in World Cup commercial rights. The organisations said football needs leadership that works for the game. Their wording described Infantino’s conduct as a “fundamental breach of trust.”
