China will host the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Shenzhen this November. Delegates will meet in a city that has grown into one of the country’s leading hubs for emerging industries. The gathering marks China’s third time hosting the event. Shanghai hosted it in 2001, followed by Beijing in 2014. Shenzhen will therefore take center stage in a new chapter of Asia-Pacific engagement.
