PoliticsRussia’s Supreme Court may remove anti-war Yabloko from ballot over alleged copyright violations
Russia’s Supreme Court is hearing a lawsuit from the Rodina party seeking to remove Yabloko from the State Duma election ballot. Yabloko is described as the only listed party calling for an immediate truce with Ukraine. Rodina also alleges breaches of campaign and candidate-nomination rules, as well as “extremism” in Yabloko’s public stance. Its copyright complaints reportedly concern disputed campaign materials, including ChatGPT-generated images and photographs from 1945.
