Earlier this week, the Alaskan cruise ship Wilderness Legacy rescued a small skiff stranded near Farragut Bay after it ran out of fuel. Tracking data reviewed by the Alaska Beacon and Halifax Shipping News showed that Mark Zuckerberg’s superyacht, Launchpad, was actually the nearest vessel. Michael Love, a passenger aboard Wilderness Legacy, later posted about the incident. The rescue was carried out by the cruise ship rather than the closer yacht.
