Hungary’s ruling Tisza party has selected former Supreme Court chief Andras Baka as its candidate for president. The announcement was made on Saturday. It comes ahead of a parliamentary vote scheduled for next Tuesday. Baka will therefore enter the vote as the party’s nominee for the presidency.
