SportsWomen's Tour de France: Defending champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot withdraws

French cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has withdrawn from the Women's Tour de France while holding the defending champion's title. She left the race before Saturday's eighth stage, which is also the penultimate stage, after feeling unwell. Ferrand-Prévot won Olympic gold in mountain biking at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She also claimed the Women's Tour de France on her debut last year.
