Aleksandar Vucic says Serbia will make every effort to assist Kyiv in achieving rapid accession to the European Union. Serbia has itself held candidate status for EU membership since 2012. Its accession negotiations have been under way since 2014. The statement places Serbia’s support for Ukraine’s European integration alongside its own prolonged membership process.
