WorldSaudi intelligence chief meets Iraqi PM, renews Riyadh visit invitation

Saudi Arabia’s intelligence chief met Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi and renewed an invitation for him to visit Riyadh. Al-Zaidi had previously cancelled an earlier trip to Saudi Arabia. The cancellation came after deadly US-Saudi strikes on Iraq on July 29. The meeting therefore renews the proposed visit following that disruption, while the report gives no further details about the discussions.
