TechArmy opens test ranges to small companies to speed weapons to battlefield

The U.S. Army says it will allow private companies developing missiles and drones to use its test ranges. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll announced the effort while speaking with reporters Friday at a range in Michigan. He said the plan is intended to reduce red tape that can hinder military contractors.
