Ukraine is seeking €220 million from the European Union to assist farmers affected by the blockade of ports. The Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said the disruption has continued for a prolonged period. It warned that agricultural exports in the 2026–2027 marketing year could fall sharply.
