WorldRussia’s FSB raids Moscow City crypto exchanges over alleged scam network funneling money to Ukraine

Russia’s Federal Security Service says it detained more than 20 people working at cryptocurrency exchange offices in Moscow City. The FSB described the exchanges as illegal and alleged that fraudulent call centers in Ukraine used them to transfer money stolen from Russian citizens out of the country. Some of those detained reportedly believed they were working for the FSB, adding another layer to the alleged scheme.
