EconomySK Hynix board approves $38 billion investment in South Korean chip plants
SK Hynix said its board has approved about 54.3 trillion won, or $38.30 billion, in investments through 2031. The spending covers the second construction phase of its chip fabrication plant in Yongin. It also includes 19.1 trillion won for the company’s M17 chip plant in Cheongju.
