Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning what it calls “birth tourism” in the United States. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said the group of people ineligible for automatic US citizenship had been expanded. The order therefore broadens the scope of those excluded from automatic citizenship under the administration’s policy.
