CultureBeijing designated World Capital of Architecture for 2029
UNESCO announced on Wednesday that Beijing has been chosen as the UNESCO–UIA World Capital of Architecture for 2029. The designation is made jointly with the International Union of Architects. It places Beijing at the center of the initiative for that year. The announcement identifies the city as the selected architectural capital for 2029.
