Russia’s services purchasing managers’ index rose to 49 points in July, according to an S&P Global study. The reading came as new orders declined for a fourth consecutive month at the beginning of the third quarter. The continued fall in orders points to persistent weakness in demand. Services activity therefore remained below the level associated with expansion.
