PoliticsKommersant: Only One-Third of Mobile Internet in Central Russia Was Unrestricted
According to a Vigo study, an average of just 30.5% of user sessions on mobile networks in Russia’s Central Federal District were unrestricted in July 2026. Vigo is a developer of network-monitoring and management tools, and the Russian business daily Kommersant cited the research. In the Central Federal District, the reported unrestricted share was therefore only about one-third of sessions. The same findings put the share of mobile internet traffic passing through “whitelists” at nearly 90% in border regions. The figures are presented as regional measurements of mobile-network access.
