WorldHundreds gather near Morocco’s Ceuta border awaiting news of missing loved ones

Hundreds have gathered in Fnideq, northern Morocco, close to the Spanish territory of Ceuta, holding up photographs of relatives and friends who are still missing. They hope people passing by may recognize them or provide information. The gathering comes as the death toll from the mass crossing approaches 100. The same narrow stretch of land drew global attention last week after about 72,000 people made their way towards Ceuta, where families are still waiting for news.
