WorldBritish soldier ignored order to remove SIM card, then was blackmailed

An Estonian newspaper reported that British soldier Daniel Barton-Kennedy refused an order to remove his phone’s SIM card before deployment to a location in Estonia about 90 miles from the Russian border. His phone was hacked, and stolen nude photos were used to blackmail him. He pleaded guilty at court-martial to disobeying a lawful command, was demoted and sentenced to 10 months in detention.
