The 2026 International Copyright Forum, co-organized by China’s National Copyright Administration and WIPO, took place in Dunhuang from Nov. 2 to 4. In an interview, WIPO Director General Daren Tang said copyright can help cultures retain their identities while exchanging ideas and ensure creators are fairly rewarded. Digital technology can also bring heritage to wider audiences and connect people worldwide with Chinese culture.
