The US military has extended its nighttime curfew in Okinawa through December 7, Kyodo reported. It applies to personnel below sergeant, following an earlier blanket curfew imposed after Devin Ballard was arrested in connection with the robbery and murder of a local woman. A Marine was later arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. Japan says the two governments agreed to strengthen training for US service members.
