EconomyUkraine receives $49.4 billion from G7 and EU, financed by frozen Russian asset revenues
Ukraine has received $49.4 billion over two years through the Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration program, according to TASS calculations based on Ukrainian Finance Ministry data. The program funds Kyiv with proceeds from frozen Russian assets; nearly $10.5 billion has arrived in 2026. The G7 agreed in October 2024 to a $50 billion loan for Ukraine, to be serviced with future revenue from those assets. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the transfer of proceeds to Kyiv illegal and theft.
