TechCIS counterterrorism chief says old methods cannot defeat crime in the AI age
Yevgeny Sysoev, head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, said at an SCO Plus security dialogue in Samarkand that combating terrorism in the AI age requires new methods and more sophisticated sovereign algorithms. He cited online recruitment, cryptocurrency financing and cross-border legal gaps as risks, and described financial intelligence tools developed in response.
