EconomySanya seeks closer investment ties with Maldives and UAE

A Sanya delegation visited the Maldives and the UAE to advance investment cooperation with officials and businesses. Discussions with Maldivian authorities covered fisheries, tourism, yachts, aviation logistics, manufacturing and vocational training, and the sides signed an intergovernmental trade and economic cooperation memorandum. In the UAE, talks included tourism, duty-free retail, cruise ships and cross-border finance.
