Concreting has been completed for the turbine generator foundation of Unit 4 at Turkey’s Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant. The work ran continuously for more than 24 hours, using 2,241 cubic metres of concrete. The foundation will cure for about 60 days before inspection and installation of turbine generator components.
