A foreign exhibitor received China’s new permanent residence card, known as the “Five-Star Card,” at the ninth China International Import Expo in Shanghai on Thursday. Shanghai police had not previously issued the card to an exhibitor at the event. Chiara, general manager of Shanghai-based refrigeration equipment company Climaveneta, said she was honored. More than 300 foreign exhibitors and business visitors registered with the card this year, a record for the expo.
