EconomyChina open to more US farm imports if tariff cuts are implemented
China says it is willing to buy more US agricultural products, provided the two sides implement their arrangement for $30 billion in reciprocal tariff reductions. Spokesperson Huang Ling said expanded farm trade could benefit people, businesses and farmers in both countries. The agreed cuts on about $30 billion of goods are to take effect simultaneously after domestic legal procedures are completed.
