TechTilt-rotor UAV powered by homegrown CS35 engine completes maiden flight
The Aero Engine Corporation of China says the 1.5-tonne Qizhi 5 tilt-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle has successfully made its first flight. The aircraft is powered by the domestically developed CS35 turboshaft engine. AECC announced the milestone on Monday. The report highlights the combination of the drone platform and a homegrown aircraft engine in the flight test.
