The childhood home of Chinese mathematician Wang Hong has unexpectedly become a tourist destination in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China. Hundreds of visitors reportedly arrive each day since Wang became one of the first Chinese nationals to receive the Fields Medal. The prize is often described as the Nobel Prize of mathematics.
