ScienceNASA’s new X-70 experimental aircraft will test next-generation aviation technologies

NASA announced the X-70 Fractal, a crewed research aircraft designed to test next-generation aviation technologies. It can fly at Mach .75, reach 45,000 feet and carry up to 2,000 pounds of experimental equipment. NASA expects it to make its first flight under the agency within two years.
