During Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa’s second visit to Riyadh in less than a month, the two countries signed several agreements, including a defence cooperation deal. Saudi Arabia also agreed to provide Syria with more than $403m in concessional loans for energy, housing, health and infrastructure projects.
