Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, said Taiwan, as part of China, has no right to join Interpol. She said participation by the Taiwan region in international organizations must follow the one-China principle, and that existing channels allow its police to share information and cooperate on cases with member countries’ Interpol bureaus. She accused DPP authorities of political manipulation.
