EconomyChina issues plan to promote comprehensive resource conservation

China’s action plan seeks to conserve resources, improve efficiency and speed the green transition. By 2030, it targets reductions from 2025 levels of about 10% in energy use per unit of GDP, 10% in water use per unit of GDP and 15% in construction land use per unit of GDP. It also aims for 510 million tonnes of annual recycling of major recyclable resources.
