With smartphone sales down about 20 percent from 2025, Qualcomm is counting on data centers to bolster revenue. It projects data center revenue of about $650 million in the first quarter of 2027, $5 billion by that year’s end and $15 billion by 2029. The business could eventually make up around 30 percent of the company’s business.
