TechApple will check shared iCloud links for “harmful content”

Apple says it will begin checking iCloud items accessible to anyone with a link for “harmful content” in iOS 27.3 and other 27.3 updates. Link-shared items will be accessible to Apple and will no longer be end-to-end encrypted. Apple says it may remove content, restrict accounts, and, if necessary, involve law enforcement.
