TechBluetooth is getting a major boost to data transfer speeds

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group has adopted Bluetooth High Data Throughput as an optional feature in Bluetooth Core 7.0, raising Bluetooth LE’s maximum rate from 2 Mbps to 7.5 Mbps. It can enable higher-resolution wireless audio and improve battery life and reliability. The first supporting devices are expected in 2027.
