Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office has designated a Crimean Tatar foundation based in the United States as an undesirable organization. The office said the foundation organizes lectures, conferences and exhibitions. It accused those activities of distorting the history of the Crimean Tatars. The designation places the organization at the center of a Russian action against its activities.
