AMD posted record third-quarter revenue of $13.4 billion and forecast another record, $17 billion, next quarter. Data centers generated $8.5 billion. CEO Lisa Su expects revenue to grow more than 80 percent in 2027, while CFO Jean Hu said data centers could account for over 80 percent of revenue looking ahead to that year. Gaming revenue fell 40 percent year over year, and Su said AMD is planning for a down year in consumer markets in 2027.
