TechValve changes Steam review process amid ‘significant increase’ in game submissions

Valve says the surge in store and page review submissions has pushed review times to as long as 12 business days, up from the usual three to five. To reduce repeat reviews over basic functional problems, it is changing its developer release checklist, including requiring games to run through Steam for at least five minutes and checking achievements and required redistributables.
