Investigators found crucial parts of a Learjet, including most of its left elevator, between 1.3 and 3.8 miles from the Palm Beach crash site. The NTSB believes they may have separated before impact, but is still investigating whether the elevator’s loss caused the aircraft to nosedive. All nine people aboard died.
