WorldNorway to deploy more air defense sensors and troops near Russian border
Norway will place NASAMS sensors in Finnmark and station 30 additional troops there. The sensors will go to Kirkenes, about 7.5 kilometers from the Russian border. Defense Minister Tore O. Sandvik said the deployment is preventative and not prompted by a new threat.
