Russian courts declared 1,818 companies bankrupt in the third quarter of 2026, down 4.5% from the previous quarter but up 18.5% year over year. The January-September total was 5,364 liquidation proceedings, 31.7% below the average for those months from 2012 to 2025. Courts also began 49 external administration and financial rehabilitation proceedings in the period.
