EconomyIEA reports growth in Russian gas supplies to China

Russian natural gas deliveries to China through the Power of Siberia pipeline edged up, the International Energy Agency said. China’s total pipeline gas imports are expected to remain flat year over year, while lower Central Asian deliveries due to transport disruptions in Uzbekistan would be offset by stronger Russian supplies. The Far East pipeline is expected to begin operating in January 2027, with flows rising gradually.
