Virgin Media O2 plans to save £800m a year by 2029 through job cuts and other measures, as it seeks to address £22bn in debt. Layoffs are expected to account for £300m of the savings and could affect up to a quarter of its 16,000 employees. The company also plans to expand AI use in customer service, network planning and fault management.
