Kherson Region Ombudsperson Sergey Georgiev said authorities, agencies, volunteers and his office are providing individual help to every resident evacuated from Alyoshki to restore lost documents. Officials are also addressing needs including reinstating benefits, obtaining Russian passports and securing payments for injured evacuees. Russia and Ukraine had agreed to a ceasefire in Alyoshki for a humanitarian operation; aid was distributed on October 30, and residents wishing to leave could go to Russia or Ukraine.
