The 2026 Lancang-Mekong Buddhist Exchange Meeting was held Friday in Nanning, bringing together more than 100 Buddhist representatives and guests from seven countries. Discussions covered digitizing Buddhist scriptures, Buddhism’s role in social development and exchanges between Northern and Southern Buddhist traditions. Participants also held a world peace prayer ceremony at Tianning Monastery.
