SocietySportsbet and Tabcorp deny allegations they supplied drugs and sex workers to drive VIP betting

Sportsbet and Tabcorp have rejected allegations made by anti-gambling campaigners at a parliamentary inquiry. The betting companies say there is no evidence that account managers arranged drugs or sex workers to persuade vulnerable customers to gamble more. Tim Costello and Luke Bateman claimed problem gamblers had been supplied with cocaine, alcohol and sex workers. The firms have called for information supporting the allegations to be given to regulators.
