TechAnthropic clamps down on Claude’s video game clones

Anthropic updated Claude Code’s system prompt on Opus 5.5 to steer it away from recreating specific existing games. The company says using Claude to infringe intellectual property violates its usage policy, while original games, genre games, and games based on users’ own designs and assets remain allowed.
