TechApple reportedly targets 2027 launch for $1,000 home robot

Apple CEO John Ternus is reportedly advancing development of a home robot that can roam autonomously, handle FaceTime calls and switch on lights when someone enters a room. Codenamed J595 and possibly to be called HomeView Ultra, it could cost $1,000 or more. A 2027 launch is planned, though delays could push it to 2028.
