The Equality and Human Rights Commission has written to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK, asking what steps it is taking to comply with the Equality Act after an undercover documentary recorded party councillors and candidates making racist and misogynistic remarks. The commission said it had received complaints and would assess them before deciding whether to act. Reform said it was confident it had complied with its obligations.
