Tech16GB Raspberry Pi 5 gets another ‘unavoidable’ price hike

The 16GB Raspberry Pi 5 now costs $385 after an $80 increase, more than three times its $120 launch price. The 16GB Compute Module 5 models also rose by $40 to $375–$415. CEO Eben Upton cited scarce alternative supplies of 16GB DRAM and said the company hopes to reverse the increases when memory costs fall.
